If you're looking for a dining experience that combines lackluster service, mediocre food, and a dash of extreme arrogance, look no further than Semolina. Let's start with the service, which I can only describe as a steaming pile of garbage. It was as if the staff had collectively decided that customer satisfaction was an optional extra. Not to mention how rude everyone we encountered was. As for the food, "mediocre" would be an overstatement. The taste was forgettable at best, and downright disappointing at worst. However, what distinguishes Semolina from the myriad of culinary letdowns is its owner, who embodies arrogance and stands as a stain on the entire hospitality industry. Following our dining experience, he refused to honor a recently purchased $150 gift card, asserting it had already been used – an impossibility backed by our receipt and a clear paper trail. Rather than attempting to rectify the situation, the owner chose to compound the disrespect toward our party. Having paid our bill, the $150 gift card became an unfortunate loss at this juncture... Nothing short of fraud committed by the restaurant. Semolina is a prime example of how a dining experience can go horribly wrong. The trifecta of abysmal service, uninspiring cuisine, and a delusional owner create an atmosphere that is, at best, forgettable and, at worst, cringe-worthy. Save yourself the trouble and explore the countless other dining options that Red Bank has to offer.

The flavors here are so fresh and really captures the very essence of local Jersey produce. The staff is vibrant and welcoming. The Buccatini is a force to be reckoned with 🔥 . The ravioli with corn is amazing, and even better when they add corn shoots to it. The tuna was cooked perfectly, however I found the caponata slightly sweet for MY taste.

Such a cute little farm to table restaurant in a great town. The Peach Panzanella salad was amazing starter. The corn agnolotti is a must have! My bf and I split an entrée size and had it as an appetizer. I look forward to it making its way back on the menu every summer. It’s just that good!!! The berkshire pork chop is always delicious and is a staple in the menu and the scallops with fava beans was just as tasty. I wasn’t a fan of the blueberry panna cotta as it tasted more like something I would have for breakfast than a dessert, but overall it was a delicious meal.

My wife and I have been well over 15 times, maybe 30+, at the time of writing this review. The chef, Chuck, catered our engagement party prior to opening Semolina and every experience has been amazing, accommodating, delicious, and most importantly, CONSISTENT! This review is for the fall menu. From sitting, dining, relaxing, through the end of our experience, the staff approach the table with respect, never feel rushed, and professional through and through. I love that Semolina is BYOB and a great chance to bring out special wine/beer/cocktails. We will be back again, and again!

Now wait. I did not expect to be blown away at this restaurant. My boyfriend took me here for a surprise date night and i think he surely earned some gold stars. Everything was fresh and farm to table and it showed. That with the combination of an amazing chef, kitchen, and staff made our experience all the better. I really wish i remember our waitresses name because she was terrific and deserves the praise. We shared the burrata, conchigile, agnolotti, and cod. Everything on the menu was so enticing but i was happy with our choices. Everything from beginning to end was so amazing. Even the bread was so good we had to order more. I actually wish we brought more people so we could’ve tried more! 10/10 definitely taking that 40 minute drive and returning.

Located on 13 White St. in downtown, Red Bank, New Jersey Probably one of our most ventured places. Such a pleasant place to have a date night out. We loved everything about this little eatery, from the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff to the farm-to-table food menu. Start with the Agnolotti, It's amazing! The Pork Chop might be the best chop ever. Make a reservation and BYOB. Huge parking lot 100 feet from the restaurant.
